Virtual receptionist features: A receptionist that does the job properly.
Call Sure is a virtual receptionist and call answering service. It answers like a person, puts the right calls through, writes up every call and stays within the limits you set. Here's everything it does today.
On the call
A receptionist that sounds like one, knows your business and finds out what each caller needs.
A natural voice, a real conversation
It talks like a good receptionist, not a phone menu. Callers can interrupt it mid-sentence and it listens. Pick the voice that suits you, including an Australian one.
Name and reason, first
Before anyone is put through, it finds out who is calling and what it is about. So nobody on your team gets put through cold.
Briefed like a new starter
Tell it what you do, where you work, what you charge and what to say in an emergency. It answers from what you give it rather than guessing, and changes apply from the next call.
Answers after hours too
Day, night and weekends, so it doubles as your after-hours answering service. Outside your hours, callers leave a proper message, ready for you in the morning.
Your choice on disclosure
Have it introduce itself as your virtual receptionist up front. Either way, it never pretends to be a person when asked.
A recording notice in the greeting
Your greeting says "This call may be recorded." unless you switch it off, and it stays on whenever you record calls.
Transfers and your team
The right calls reach the right person, and only when they can take them.
Warm transfers you can say no to
Your phone rings once. You hear privately who is calling and why, then take the call or let your assistant take a message.
Your team and departments
Add people with their role: office, accounts, the boss. Callers reach the right one by name or by what they need.
A catch-all for everything else
Mark someone "takes other calls" and anything that doesn't match a name or department goes to them.
Business hours, day by day
Set different hours for each day. Inside them, calls can be put through. Outside them, nobody is rung and messages are taken.
Team phones confirmed first
Each team member's phone is confirmed with a quick code call before a transfer can ring it, so calls never go to a mistyped number.
Switch people on and off
Away for the day? Switch them off in one tap and transfers skip them until you switch them back on.
Try every feature free.
Every plan includes every feature, and so does the free trial. No card needed.
After the call
Nothing to play back or piece together. Every call is written up for you.
Messages, summaries and transcripts
Every call lands in your dashboard with a short summary, the full transcript, the message and a one-tap button to call them back.
Call alerts by email
A summary of each call is emailed to you, and anyone on your team you choose, as soon as the call is wrapped up.
Optional call recording
Off unless you turn it on. Callers are told first, and recordings are deleted after 90 days.
Report a call
If the assistant got something wrong, report it from the call. We look into it and tell you what we changed.
Trust and control
You decide what callers are told, what is recorded and what you spend.
Your choice on disclosure
Have it introduce itself as your virtual receptionist up front. Either way, it never pretends to be a person when asked.
A spending limit
Set a monthly limit for extra minutes and you are never charged past it. Once reached, your assistant keeps answering and taking short messages, without putting calls through, for the rest of the billing period.
Two-step sign-in
Two-step sign-in for every client account: an authenticator app code, not just a password.
Call records stored in Australia
Your call records and recordings are stored in Australia, and your callers' data is never used to train AI.
Removed after 12 months by default
Caller details, messages and transcripts are removed automatically after 12 months by default.
Getting connected
Keep the number your customers know, or take a new one. Either way it's tested before it goes live.
Keep your number
Forward your existing line to us. Customers ring the number they know, and you still make calls as you do now.
Tested before it goes live
We ring your line and check the call reaches your assistant before it starts answering, so you know forwarding works.
A new local number
Prefer a fresh number? Pick a local 02, 03, 07 or 08 number. We check your business details first, as Australian rules require.
Move your number over
Move a landline, mobile, 13, 1300 or 1800 number to us completely. You give us the details in your account and we handle the transfer.
Enterprise
Your own private AI.
For organisations that need dedicated infrastructure, we can run a private AI model for your business on our own servers in Australia, set up on request and tailored to how you work.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Still wondering? Ring 07 3608 1800 and ask our receptionist, or email [email protected].
Does it sound like a robot?
No. It speaks in a natural voice, in short, friendly sentences, and callers can interrupt it just as they would a person. You choose the voice and its speed, and can listen to each one before you pick.
How does it know about my business?
You brief it on the Assistant page like a new receptionist: what you do, where you work, your prices, and what to say in common situations. It answers from that. If a caller asks something you haven't covered, it doesn't guess: it offers to take a message or put them through.
What if it gets something wrong?
You will see it. Every call has a summary and the full transcript, so you know exactly what was said. Press "Report a problem" on any call and we will look into it and tell you what we changed. You can also update what your assistant knows at any time, and it applies from the next call.
Where do my messages go?
Straight into your dashboard, with the caller's name, number, message, a short summary and the full transcript, plus a button to call them back. We also email a summary of every call to you, and anyone on your team you choose.
Can calls be recorded?
If you want them to be. Recording is off unless you switch it on, either for the conversation with the assistant or for the whole call. Callers are told the call is recorded before recording starts, and recordings are deleted after 90 days.
Will callers know it is AI?
That is up to you. New accounts start with "tell callers up front" on, so it introduces itself as your virtual receptionist, and you can switch that off. Either way, if a caller asks, it says it is a virtual receptionist and never pretends to be a person.
What languages does it speak?
English.
Your next call could be your next job.
